IMPORTANT UPDATE ON COVID ISOLATION REQUIREMENTS

The following is based on a Disability Sector Update about the 5-day Isolation criteria.

The people NWSS support who live alone can leave isolation after day 5 but may not be able to return to a day service until after day 7.  A call to the relevant service provider for clarification will be required.

For clients in share home accommodation, the 7-day isolation criteria remain.

Staff can leave isolation after 5 days but not return to work until after day 7 as currently in place.

The criteria for these time frames recommend that the person leaving isolation must be free from cold and flu symptoms and have a normal temperature range in the previous 24 hours.
